Local Anaesthetics - emergency trolley

The following should be available on your departments resuscitation trolley for acute anaphylaxis to drugs such as local anaesthetics:

• Disposable Airways

• Selection of I.V. Cannulae

• Normal Saline for infusion

• Plasma Substitute for infusion

• Oxygen with masks and tubing

• Ambubag and mask for assisted ventilation

• Needles and syringes

• Adrenaline 1:1000

• Piriton 20mg

• Hydrocortisone
